Privacy Policy

This page explains what data the WCO site (wco.ru) receives, why it is needed and how the editorial team handles it.

What data we receive

Only what you send yourself through the form on the ‘Contacts’ page:

  • your name — as you have written it;
  • an email address for our reply;
  • the subject and text of your message.

To protect the form from spam, the site remembers for one hour how many messages have been sent from a single IP address. It is not the address itself that is stored but its irreversible hash; after an hour the record is deleted automatically.

Why

To read your message and reply to it: to correct an error in an article, to consider a suggested topic, to discuss cooperation. The email address is not used for newsletters, and the data is not passed to third parties for advertising.

Where it is stored and for how long

The message is saved in the site’s database; it is not forwarded anywhere by email. Only the editorial team has access to it. We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to reply and delete it at your request.

Consent and its withdrawal

By submitting the form you consent to the processing of the listed data in order to reply to your message (Federal Law No. 152-FZ ‘On Personal Data’). You can withdraw your consent, find out what is stored about you or ask for the data to be deleted through the same form — subject ‘Other’.

What happens during an ordinary visit

The site has no registration, comments, advertising or visitor counters, and it does not set cookies to track visitors. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers, so the browser transmits your IP address and browser details to Google — as with any request to a third-party server. The site’s server, like any web server, may keep a technical request log.

Changes

If the site starts collecting other data or connects counters, this page will be updated.
